THE ORIGIN OF CASSIOPEIA
I've said many times that my CASSIOPEIA THE WITCH series was inspired by a real-life experience.  I was working as a freelance reporter at the time, and I wrote an article, published in OFF THE RECORD, about our paranormal investigation.  Of course, I lost my copies of that story in the Camp Fire of 11/08/2018, but now, thanks to Peter Berkow and Charles Mohnike (and, yes, Newspapers.com), I have retrieved copies of this and several other stories I wrote back at the dawn of time.
